just another alien calling earth home until a more inviting atmosphere develops on another celestial neighbor. i've been in chicago for 10yrs, have traveled quite a bit to know this is where i belong. most who know me tag me with words like: misanthropic, the absent-minded professor, dedicated, and obscure.due to my current experiments in photography, "mad scientist" has been thrown around the studio quite a bit lately. i work in the advertising world as a tech & lighting grip for commercial photographers. i work mainly in digital but despise it. my personal work is in a more regressive state, technically speaking. i find more happiness in 19th century photographic practices. in lay-man's terms, i work with the big cameras that you see guys with cloths over their heads and make my own b&w film on glass plates (ambrotypes).

i just thought i'd give this site a go to mind more people of my own ilk. please be within the "city limits".
